Tune into 414 Music this Friday at 5:30pm, we will have the Paul Spencer Band live in our studios. The Paul Spencer Band is a Milwaukee jazz band that plays everything from Latin, Be-Bop, Blues, and Dixieland jazz. They have said their sound is like Jimi Hendrix played to swing. Tune in to this Friday’s 414 Music at 5:30pm, DJ Scott Mullins will have Jason Seed live in our studio. He is a 2008 Independent Music Award Finalist(IMA). He is going to be accompanied by a viola, violin, cello, upright bass and he’ll be playing guitar.
Seed combines everything from jazz, funk and rock to samba and classical in a highly unclassifiable and danceable psychedelic stew…Seed, at times, is largely reminiscent of Frank Zappa, with off-the-wall and obscurely humorous lyrics segueing into guitar wizardry.”

Tune into RadioMilwaukee this Friday at 5:30pm for another 414 Music with Scott Mullins. Amazing musician Evan Christian will be live in our studios.
Recording Artist / Producer originally from Chicago Ill. As a flamenco guitarist, Evan released his first independent album entitled “FUEGO” in the fall of 2004. The album FUEGO spans the genre of “nuevo flamenco” and pushes the boundaries of acoustic guitar playing.
He will also be performing that night at the Miramar Theater as part of Verbatim: The Power of Spoken Word.

Tune in this Friday during the 5pm hour with Scott Mullins when he as De La Buena live in our studios. They will be performing live later that night with the Urbanites at Stonefly Brewery for a Haloween Party.
Growing from a trio into a powerful nine-piece over the last five years, De La Buena has been electrifying audiences with their own brand of Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz. Employing jazz harmonic sensibility and a deep-seated love of diverse cultures, De La Buena explores the textures and rhythms of Latin musics of the Americas with roots planted firmly in Africa. The fruits of their labor have produced a live septet album, “En Vivo y Directo”, with a studio effort set for Spring 2008 release. Ever wondered what would happen if that “old school” salsa sound of the late ’70s came pulsating into the new millennium? Check out De La Buena.
